Gratitude

【FH Waldorf Dictionary 2|Gratitude】Over the past ten years, hundreds of studies have found that embracing a grateful heart 💖 helps elevate happiness, improve health and strengthen interpersonal skills. Promoting the culture of gratitude on campus can also cultivate children's positive attitude, encourage them to express their emotions and enhance their sense of belonging to the school 💕.

In 🌳Forest House's 🌳 Waldorf Education world, we nurture children to observe the changes of every little thing happening around them so that they can learn not to take everything for granted by knowing that things do not always go as planned. Still, most importantly, we must live out every moment with a grateful heart and spread happiness.

Recently, the parents of our recent graduate, Shirley, sent us a thank-you note with more than 2,000 words. In which they mentioned that they noticed when Shirley was promoted to the senior class, 'the more she has the determination and will to maintain her goodness and good qualities, not only in school but also at home and with her neighbours.' and 'it is the good fortune of our generation of parents to educate people like this!'

Shirley's parents' gratitude nourishes their daughter to grow with endless joy, encouraging our school to continuously develop. We are grateful for what we have, and this is what we hope to see. We hope to meet more loving families and share our grateful hearts together in the future. 💫
